howdy!

I’m Erika, a culture-obsessed social media leader living in Portland, OR.

I’ve always been drawn to the mystical world of social media and am deeply passionate about the strategic, creative, and operational sides of the craft. I move at the speed of social and am always down for a good challenge. I feel the magic of my skills is best experienced through cross-team collaboration, creative problem-solving, and unexpected thinking.

With over a decade of experience in social media and client management, I'm always eager to make meaningful connections, tackle evolving algorithms, and jam alongside my team to create scroll-stopping work that leaves a lasting impact.

Outside of the 9-5, you can find me obsessing over my two dogs, Larry and Harold, curating the perfect Spotify playlist, or elbows deep in treasures at the nearest Goodwill. I also pursue photography part-time, which has been such a fun creative outlet, alongside hosting a community meet-up group called Outer Circle in an effort to meet new people, build deeper connections with my friends and facilitate more joy IRL.

Thanks for being here.

Passion Points

  • Communities are incubators of inspiration and I use social to bring strangers together over common interests and shared passions.

  • Well-oiled social means more freedom, flexibility and fun. Being efficient in social media processes, tools and teams means you get to make cooler, better content.

  • Social is a playground. I use data and trends to identify and test peak content opportunities, whether it's developing a new content framework or pillar or jumping on a rising moment.

  • Being first on the scene of social landscape shifts, opportunity platforms, and evolving algorithms helps teams adapt and stay proactive.

  • Helping others shine and up level their skills.

Championing the power of social media is a big part of who I am. Having worked both in house and in agency, empowering peers and leaders to become advocates for great social work is critical for long-term success.
